deep cut: the homeless alliance mission video
Earlier this year, we worked on a project with The Homeless Alliance, a collaborative and community-centered service and volunteer hub, to create their new mission video.
The Homeless Alliance works to end long-term homelessness in Oklahoma City. We wanted to shed light on homelessness in Oklahoma, highlight the important work of those fighting it, and to give faces to those who live it every day.
Those faces are often seen behind a cloud of common misconceptions surrounding homelessness. The Homeless Alliance clients who participated generously allowed us a look into their lives and the opportunity to tell their stories.
It was important to show the perspective of the dedicated people who make up the Homeless Alliance staff as well, so we spent some time with executive director and founder Dan Straughan and Meghan Mueller, the program director for Journey Home OKC.
The staff at Homeless Alliance, onscreen and off, helped make this project possible. Special thanks to director of communications Kinsey Crocker, who worked side-by-side with our team, and to deputy director Kim Woods and Robot House Creative for partnering with us on the project.
