deep cut: connect + cure
For well over a decade now, Brian Ferrell of Factor 110 calling us has meant something exciting is about to happen. As his company has grown by leaps and bounds, so have the scope and scale of the work we do for Factor events. We’ve always done video and graphics—animated logos, lower thirds, and even 3-D hype videos from scratch. In recent years, we’ve partnered with Factor 110 on many of those things, plus cardboard cutout photo op environments, time-lapses, and immersive 3-D previsualization to put event attendees inside a building at its groundbreaking.
In October, Brian called us again.
“Is your plate full?”
“Yes. But we can get a bigger plate.”
That single phone call blossomed into weeks of work with the Factor event team to create a ton of material for the Harold Hamm Diabetes Center’s Connect + Cure Gala. In total, we shot roughly 50+ hours of time-lapse footage and created and delivered 46 animated pieces! We love how it all came out, but it was particularly exciting to see some of our custom animations playing behind Grammy winner Trisha Yearwood as she performed. It was a big night for us, figuratively, but also literally: Most of our content was displayed on Factor 110’s mammoth new LED wall.
Here’s what it looks like when the unreal team at Factor 110 dives into an event setup:
