deep cut: animated stand-up comedy

Former CVW intern and all-around productive and hilarious member of society James Nghiem wears many hats: teacher, drummer, and curator, to say the least. But he’s maybe best known around here for his contributions to Oklahoma City’s thriving comedy scene.

When we were testing out a new style of character animation, we hit James up for permission to use one of his newer jokes, and he sent over a piece that hit our creative director Jeff, a die-hard Batman fan, square in the gut.
